洋品店での仕事

ガブリエルは、女学校の紹介で洋品店に就職しました。

つまり、彼女の意思で選んだ仕事ではなかったのです。

しかしここで彼女は、キャリアウーマンとして開花します。

ガブリエルには、修道院で身に付けた裁縫技術がありました。

それにより、洋品店での仕事は難なくこなすことができたのです。

彼女は顧客のニーズに柔軟に対応することが得意でした。

基本的には販売員でしたが、衣類の寸法直しや着こなしのアドバイスなども行い、顧客から絶大な信頼を得るようになりました。

生まれて初めて自分自身でお金を稼ぐようになり、彼女は人生を謳歌し始めると同時に、もっと自分を高い地位に押し上げるために、努力を積み重ねました。

後に築かれる彼女の仕事に妥協しない姿勢は、この頃から築かれていたものと思われます。

ガブリエルは、お店に内緒で衣類を仕立てるようになりました。

それにより副収入も得られるようになり、自分を磨くために投資を始めます。

洋品店の時代もアドリエンヌと仲が良く、美しい二人が揃ってカフェでおしゃべりに花を咲かせていると、たちまち現地の将校たちの熱い視線を集めるようになりました。

ある日のこと、将校に連れられてカフェ・コンセール（ステージのあるカフェのこと）に行ったガブリエルは、ステージの世界にすっかり魅せられました。

そして、いつか自分もあの場所に立ちたいと思うようになり、後にそれが現実のものになります。

Work at a Clothing Store

Gabriel joined a clothing store through an introduction by a girls' school.
In other words, she did not choose her job by herself.

Nevertheless, she grew up as a career woman there.
Gabriel had sewing techniques she learned on the convent.

She was able to work at the clothing store without any difficulty. She was good at flexibly dealing with customer satisfaction.

She was basically a salesperson, but also she made the alteration of the size and fashion advices, so that she earned strong customers' trust.

For the first time in her life, she began to make money by herself. While she started to enjoy her life, she worked hard to move herself to a higher position.

As for her work, she did not compromise at this time, which led to her attitude towards work later.

Gabriel began to make clothes at the store in secrecy.

As a result, she obtained extra income and started investing to improve herself.

Also, she got along well with Adrienne during working at clothing store. When two beautiful ladies were chatting together at the cafe, they attracted local officers' attention immediately.

One day, Gabriel accompanied an officer and visited a cafe-concert (a cafe with a stage) and was totally fascinated by the stage.

Then, she hoped to make her stage debut someday, and her dream came true later.
