私はブランド物全般におおよそ縁のない人間ですが、シャネルの名前だけは昔から知っていたような気がします。
そして、シャネルが作る広告の美しさや現デザイナー、ラガーフェルド氏の素顔について、度々ファッション雑誌で触れてきて、シャネルというブランドには常に興味がありました。
どんなブランドも浮き沈みがある中、何故シャネルだけはトップを維持し続けることができるのか？そんな疑問を長年抱いていました。
そこで今回、ブランド「シャネル」と、その創設者、ココ・シャネルについて様々な文献を読んで研究し、まとめてみようと思い立ったのです。
